Pak Army announces free education for children of martyred KP police officer
Major General Noor Wali offered Fateha for departed soul of Shaheed police officer and lauded his contributions as a patriot and his actions against terrorists
RAWALPINDI: On directives of Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Syed Asim Munir, the Inspector General of Frontier Corps (North), Major General Noor Wali met family members of martyred Superintendent of Police (SP) Ejaz Khan on Thursday.
SP Ejaz Khan was martyred in an encounter with terrorists in Mardan on February 27.
Major General Noor Wali offered Fateha for departed soul of Shaheed police officer and lauded his contributions as a patriot and his actions against terrorists.
He also presented a cheque of Rs5 million to the bereaved family and informed them that Pakistan Army would bear education expenses of Shaheed police officer’s children.
Later, the IG FC North met officers and jawans of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police who participated in the operation against terrorists, and appreciated their courage and resolve to eliminate menace of terrorism.
