Panel rejects candidates for post of Benazir human resource research board’s chairman
The search committee rejected the four shortlisted candidates for the post of chairman of Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Human Resource Research and Development Board (BBSHRRDB) and recommended to the caretaker chief minister of Sindh to re-advertise for the post.
It is reported that 23 applications were received for the post of chairman of Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Human Resource Research and Development Board, providing vocational training courses with a monthly stipend to youths, for which four candidates -- Farhan Saeed Wakani, Javed Ahmed Akhtar, Sikandar Ali Halio and Taimur Ali -- were shortlisted. The candidates included the acting chairman of the board.
However, when the search committee interviewed the candidates, none of htem could not meet the criteria of the search committee. According to a bureaucrat member of the committee, all the members agreed that the post should be re-advertised. It should be remembered that this board has a budget of billions of rupees and claims to provide technical training to nearly half a million of people.
