Bushra files appeal against her conviction in two cases

ISLAMABAD: Bushra Bibi, wife of PTI founder, has filed appeal pleas against her conviction in two cases. The petitions have been filed in the Islamabad High Court (IHC) against conviction in NAB Toshakhana case and Nikah during iddat case.
The petitioner has taken the plea in the petition that sentence awarded by Accountability Court (AC) in Toshakhana case be declared null and void. The decision given in Nikah during iddat case is illegal, un-Islamic and against the Shariah and norms of justice. The decision of awarding sentence in Nikah during iddat case also be set aside.
