The police operation led to the apprehension of Irfan, also known as Kakul, a notorious criminal wanted for serious offenses linked to the Lyari gang war. Alongside him, his accomplice Shahid was also arrested during the encounter. During interrogation, startling revelations emerged regarding Irfan’s involvement in terrorism, extortion, and targeted killings.

Irfan, known to operate under the command of Fida Bhai Jaan, a key figure of the Uzair Baloch group, had been evading authorities since fleeing to Dubai in 2014 amidst the Karachi operation.

Despite being abroad, he maintained connections with Fida and continued to execute criminal activities as instructed. The duo was involved in extortion activities at the Machli Market and operated a torture cell there, inflicting extreme violence on their victims. Moreover, Irfan confessed to involvement in ethnic violence, including abducting Urdu-speaking individuals and carrying out killings on the orders of Uzair Baloch and Faisal Pathan. Even after his return to Pakistan, Irfan remained loyal to Fida, carrying out his directives and reorganizing the group according to instructions received from Dubai.

The police had initiated further investigations into the matter, aiming to unravel additional details regarding the criminal activities of the apprehended suspects and their associates.
