Three arrested for motorcycle theft
The Anti Vehicle Lifting Cell (AVLC) police on Saturday announced the arrest of three individuals suspected of motorcycle theft in Karachi.
The suspects, apprehended by the AVLC Lyari division police, were identified as Habibullah, Sameer, and Waqas. According to the spokesperson, their arrests were made possible through the analysis of CCTV footage and technical evidence. The trio had been allegedly involved in the theft and snatching of numerous motorcycles from various parts of the city.
The police further revealed that Waqas and Sameer had a history of motorcycle theft dating back to 2021, with previous arrests on their record. Additionally, three motorcycles were recovered from their possession during the operation.
Efforts were underway to locate and apprehend any additional accomplices associated with the suspects. A case had been registered, and investigations were ongoing to gather more information about their criminal activities.
