ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf spokesman Sunday reacted strongly to PMLN President Shehbaz Sharif’s news conference and alleged he was dreaming of misleading people through myths and lies.

“Carrying the burden of a humiliating job on his head, he is dreaming of misleading the people through lies and myths,” he said and alleged there was no other achievement than “shining shoes” and destroying the country.

The spokesman contended that the day this “criminal” was made the Prime Minister by collecting all the thieves of the country under the state shelter, he was to be indicted for corruption of Rs24 billion.

This incompetent person, as prime minister, he alleged, brought down the economy growing at the rate of 6 percent below zero and that he crushed the poor and salaried class under the historic inflation of 45% and pushed more than 15 million Pakistanis into the dark abyss of poverty.

“Shehbaz Sharif’s criminal style of government has continuously increased the prices of flour, sugar and other food items and snatched bread from the mouths of the people, especially millions of poor people,” he noted.

He continued, “Due to his incompetence, the price of petrol had reached the highest level of Rs300 per liter, which was available at Rs150 per litre during the tenure of PTI government. During the incompetent Shehbaz government, the Pakistani currency fell for the first time in history and the value of the dollar increased from Rs179 to Rs300.”

He alleged in the 16 months of his government, one unit of electricity had reached an average un-payable level of Rs50. “He snatched all the facilities provided to the poor under the Ehsaas program, including a health card worth Rs1 million given by Imran Khan’s regime to every citizen for free treatment.”

“The criminal, who ended corruption cases against himself through the gross exploitation of national institutions, also won the honor of forming the largest and incompetent cabinet in history,” he charged.

He said during the 16 months of his government, he destroyed the entire social and political system, including the Constitution, law, democracy, political and democratic freedoms of the citizens.

“He caused embarrassment to Pakistan all over the world, including the post of Prime Minister, during every foreign visit made during his government. Deprived of dignity, this family once again wants to pave the way for its power by trampling democracy, Constitution and public opinion under the feet through secret deals and projects,” he alleged.

He charged despite the worst state aggression and atrocities against the beloved leader of the nation and the most popular political party, the state of desperation and anxiety of this “criminal group” is showing their imminent defeat. “February 8 will be an accountability day for the criminals who have looted the country and the nation for decades and the verdict will be pronounced in the people’s court,” he said.

Meanwhile, PTI’s senior leader Omar Ayub Khan strongly condemned the abduction of Allahyar Khan, urging KP IG Police Akhtar Hayat Khan Gandapur to take notice of the abduction racket allegedly being run by sub inspector Asim Bokhari and award him the maximum punishment to set an example.

He said that it has become evident that Allahyar Khan was abducted by the police official and had been taken to an unknown location by him.
