LAHORE : In a dedicated effort to provide a clean environment to the citizens, Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC) was actively engaged in a comprehensive mechanical sweeping, scraping, and washing initiative throughout the city all three shifts.
Under the directive of LWMC CEO, Babar Sahib Din, the LWMC enforcement wing was concurrently conducting anti-smog operations to tackle air pollution effects.
Cleaning gangs were actively deployed in three shifts at city entrances and exits, ensuring cleanliness on pedestrian bridges and footpaths.
According to LWMC spokesperson, every possible measure was being taken to combat pollution and maintain a clean environment. Specific areas such as Quaid-e-Azam Road, GOR Road, Queens Road, Jail Road, Mall Road, Canal Road and Gulberg Main Boulevard undergo daily washing, with adjacent regions receiving meticulous attention.
