PRHP candidate quits in favour of PTIP nominee

CHITRAL: The nominated candidate of Pakistan Rah-e-Haq Party (PRHP) for PK-2 Lower Chitral, Maulana Iftikhar Hussain Siddiqui, on Tuesday withdrawn his candidature in favour of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf-Parliamentarians (PTIP) candidate Shahzada Khalid Pervez.
Speaking at a press conference, Maulana Iftikhar also announced full support to the PTIP candidate for his win during forthcoming general elections to be held on February 8.
He said that Khalid Pervez belonged to a religious family that was why he withdrew his candidacy for the elections in his favour to better serve the area and religion of Islam. He said that his family had always served the people and worked for the promotion of Islamic values in the area.
