AVCC police arrest another suspect in kidnapping for ransom case
The Anti Violent Crime Cell (AVCC) of Karachi police reported on Monday that they apprehended another suspect allegedly involved in a kidnapping for ransom case in the city.
According to the AVCC spokesperson, the police team captured Hasnain, son of Danish Ghazanfar, who was wanted in connection with the kidnapping for ransom of Wajahat Nadeem from the Brigade area. The spokesperson disclosed that the abduction of Nadeem occurred on December 3 last year, with the suspect demanding a ransom of 50,000 US dollars from the victim's family.
The spokesperson added that the criminal record of the arrested suspect, Hasnain, was currently under scrutiny. Earlier, three other accomplices of the group had already been arrested. The arrested suspects were undergoing investigation, and further inquiries were in progress.
