NOWSHERA: Maulana Hamidul Haq Haqqani, deputy administrator of the Jamia Darul Uloom Haqqania, on Thursday urged the people of Pakistan to elect honest leaders in the forthcoming general election slated for February 8.
Addressing the Ulema and students at Khatm-e-Bukhari Sharif, dastarbandi ceremony held at the Jamia Darul Uloom Haqqania, he said that Pakistan had come into existence in the name of Islam and no one would be allowed to use its soil for liberal the secular purposes at the behest of foreign powers.
“Only Sharia is the key to the solution of all issues in the country,” the Maulana Hamidul Haq said.Hundreds of religious scholars graduated from Jamia Darul Uloom Haqqania were donned turbans and they were administered oath of allegiance to Islam, Pakistan and the religious institution Jamia Haqqania at the ceremony.
Maulana Hamidul Haq said that there was no space for terrorism in Islam, adding that Islamic identity of Muslims was alive owing to madaris.Other religious scholars shed light on the role of Jamia Darul Uloom Haqqania.
