Cop injured in firing by rivals

PESHAWAR: A police official wounded in a firing incident at Faqirabad on Sunday night.
Cops said Assistant Sub-Inspector Yousuf, a resident of Shabqadar town of the Charsadda district, sustained bullet injuries when armed men opened fire on him in Faqirabad locality.
The injured police official was shifted to a hospital where his condition was stated to be stable.Officials said the incident was linked to an old enmity as the family had mentioned rivals, Naeem and Nizam Uddin in the FIR.
