33 PTI candidates are related to each other
Two sisters, Ayesha Nazir Jat and Arifa Nazir Jat from Vihari, have got national and provincial tickets
LAHORE: An analysis of the election tickets issued by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf shows that tickets have been issued to 33 candidates who are related to each other.
On the other hand, the PMLN issued tickets to 38 close relatives. The PTI has given a National Assembly ticket to Rais Mehboob in Rahim Yar Khan and his son Rais Hamza Mehboob, a provincial candidate. National Assembly tickets have been issued to former MNA Makhdoom Zain Qureshi and his sister Meher Bano Qureshi from Multan.
From Attock, former MNA Major (retd) Tahir Sadiq and his daughter, former MNA Iman Waseem, both have been given tickets to the National Assembly. From Lodhran, former MNA Pir Iqbal Shah and his son former MPA Aamir Iqbal Shah have been given provincial assembly tickets. Former MNA Aurangzeb Khichi and his brother ex-MPA Jahanzeb Khichi have been given national and provincial tickets from Vihari. National Assembly tickets have been issued to brothers, former MPA Ahmad Ali Dreshk and Atif Ali Dreshk from Rajanpur, while their cousin former MPA Owais Dreshk will also be a candidate for the provincial assembly.

Former MNA Karamat Khokhar and his nephew former MNA Zaheer Abbas Khokhar will be the candidates for the National Assembly from Lahore. Former MNA Malik Amir Dogar from Multan has been given the National Assembly ticket and his brother Malik Adnan Dogar has been given the provincial assembly ticket. Former MNA Malik Umar Aslam Awan and his brother former MPA Hasan Aslam Awan will be the provincial candidates from Khushab. National Assembly tickets have been issued to former MNA Moazzam Jatoi and his nephew Dawood Jatoi from Muzaffargarh.
From Faisalabad, former MPA Ali Afzal Sahi has been given the National Assembly ticket and his brother Junaid Afzal Sahi has been given the provincial assembly ticket. Former MPA Umar Aftab Dhillon and former MPA Khurram Ejaz Chatta, who are relatives, are the candidates for Provincial Assembly from Sheikhupura. Samira Elhi Chauhan from Gujrat and her niece former MPA Basma Riaz Waraich from Mandi Bahauddin have been given provincial assembly tickets. From Sahiwal, former MNA Rai Murtaza Iqbal and his cousin Rai Mohammad Iqbal have been given a ticket for the provincial assembly. From Mianwali, two cousins of former prime minister Imran Khan, former MPA Irfanullah Niazi and Rafiq Niazi will represent the PTI in provincial assembly constituencies. Meanwhile, the party has issued the National Assembly tickets to 21 women from across Pakistan.
