The workshop aims to highlight the significance of upgrading the skills of investigative officers to effectively tackle the evolving challenges of cybercrime and to equip officers with the necessary skills to investigate cybercrimes diligently.

The workshop, spanning five days, provided officers with insights into different facets of cybercrime investigation. Topics covered included mobile data analysis, IMEI tracing, cloning, cyber hacking, ransom ware, spyware, financial fraud, and other internet-related crimes.

Islamabad Capital Police 60 officers have completed the first phase of training in collaboration with the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in the field of digital forensics. The collaboration with FIA is part of a broader effort to address and investigate cybercrime cases effectively.

As part of this collaboration, Islamabad Capital Police, in conjunction with FIA, will scrutinize cybercrime cases falling under federal jurisdiction.

Citizens can file requests for inclusion of cases related to cybercrime at any police station. The F-6 Cyber Crime Investigation Center is set to become operational from January 15, further fortifying police capabilities in combating cyber threats.
