The body of a severely tortured three-year-old boy who had been missing since December 29 was found in Landhi on Rehri Goth Road on Monday.
Police had initiated an investigation on December 30 based on a complaint filed by the father, Zahid Khan. The child, Mustafa, who had left home to fetch some goods, never came back.
The father, denying enmity with anybody, pleaded for justice, alleging that his innocent child had been brutally murdered. He urged swift apprehension of the perpetrators.
The child’s body was transported to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for a postmortem examination. The investigation into the incident is continuing.
