ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs appointed new ambassadors in 18 countries, it has been learnt from sources.
Qasim Mohiuddin will be ambassador to Azerbaijan, Naveed Bukhari to Oman, Kamran Akhtar to Austria, Rukhsana Afzal to Thailand and Zahid Raza to Mauritius, Zahoor Ahmad to Spain, Faisal Aziz to New Zealand and Ahsan Vigan will serve in Turkmenistan, Rabia Shafiq in Singapore, Murad Ashraf Janjua in Brazil, Arshad Jan Pathan in Romania, Imran Haider will be the new ambassador of Pakistan in Myanmar, Khalid Ajaz in Portugal, Mahmood Akhtar Mahmood in Ivory Coast, Zafar Iqbal will go to Kuwait, Malik Farooq to Cambodia while Khudiyar Murri will be the new ambassador of Pakistan to Vietnam.
