Search committee interviews candidates for Shaikh Ayaz University VC
The search committee tasked with identifying a suitable candidate for the vice chancellor post of the Shaikh Ayaz University, Shikarpur, has successfully concluded interviewing the candidates.
The interviews lasted for two days. Sources said the prominent candidates included Dr Yusuf Khushk, Dr Madad Ali Shah, Dr Nabi Bakhsh Narejo, Dr Mumtaz Mahar, Dr Manzoor Memon, Dr Ghulam Mustafa Mashori and Dr Munir Shah.
Notably, Dr Wasim Qazi, former vice chancellor of the Iqra University Karachi, participated in an online interview from the United States. The search committee, headed by Prof Dr SM Tariq Rafi, chairperson of the Sindh Higher Education Commission, conducted the interviews.
The meeting was attended by Universities and Boards Department Secretary Noor Ahmed Samo, along with Sadaf Anisa and Sohail Akbar Shah. Dr Pirzada Qasim was conspicuously absent from the meeting.
