Selection Committee meets on 13th for NZ T20I series
LAHORE: The national men’s selection committee, led by Wahab Riaz, is set to convene in Lahore on December 13 to discuss selection for the five-match T20I series against New Zealand.
The committee will evaluate performances in the ongoing National T20 Cup 2023-24 in Karachi to finalise the squad.
As part of the selection process, a training camp is scheduled to commence at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore on December 25. The selection committee aims to identify players who have demonstrated exceptional skills and form in the National T20 Cup, ensuring a competitive and well-prepared squad for the New Zealand series.
The final squad announcement is expected on January 2, 2024, offering selected players ample time for focused training and preparation. The T20I series against New Zealand is slated to kick off on January 12.
