KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has directed his party to step up preparations for the upcoming general elections to be held on February 8.
According to a press release issued by the Bilawal House Media Cell, PPP Sindh parliamentary board meeting was held at the Bilawal House, Karachi, under the party chief.
The participants of the meeting presented proposals for the distribution of tickets in the province for general elections. They also submitted suggestions for organizing a programme in connection with Benazir Bhutto’s death anniversary on December 27.
The meeting was attended by Faryal Talpur, Nisar Ahmad Khuhro, Senator Waqar Mehdi, Aajiz Dhamrah, Syed Murad Ali Shah, Nasir Hussain Shah, Saeed Ghani, Abdul Qadir Patel, Mukesh Kumar Chawla and Noman Sheikh.
