Shehbaz, KP leaders discuss party issues, general elections
LAHORE: Shehbaz Sharif, former Prime Minister and President of PMLN met with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) party’s president, Engineer Amir Muqam, and general secretary, Murtaza Javed Abbasi here on Wednesday and discussed the party’s organization issues and preparations for the general elections.
SHehbaz appreciated the efforts of the party in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa under the leadership of Amir Muqam. “If Allah gives a chance, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will resume the stalled journey of development,” Shehbaz Sharif said adding Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was deprived of development for the last 10 years.
Shehbaz said that making Khyber Pakhtunkhwa the cradle of peace, the pace of development has to be accelerated.
He further said the brave people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have made historic sacrifices against terrorism. Amir Muqam and Murtaza Javed Abbasi briefed the party president about the election activities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
