Cadet found dead at hostel room
MANSEHRA: The body of the first-year scout cadet was found hanging at Pakistan Scouts Cadet College Batrasi’s hostel room here in the early hours of Wednesday.
“We have started an investigation to ascertain either it is a suicide or murder,” Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Arshad Khan told reporters. The staff and officials of the Pakistan Scouts Cadet College Batrasi informed the police after seeing the body of Mohammad Tauseef. They shifted it to the King Abdullah Teaching Hospital for autopsy.
The body was later handed over to the family after doctors completed the legal formalities. DSP Arshad Khan said the FIR of the incident was registered and the rest of the legal formalities were completed. “It would be premature to say something either this is a murder or a suicide,” he said. According to the college management, the student committed suicide by hanging himself.
