PESHAWAR: Ruling out differences between party leaders, Secretary Information Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Peshawar Region Engineer Adil Nawaz said that the party was more concerned about the internal and external challenges it was passing through.
In a press statement issued here on Tuesday, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader referred to certain WhatsApp messages circulated by Sher Afzal Marwat and former minister Atif Khan, he said that the allegations made by the former against the latter were baseless. He said that Atif Khan has never stopped anyone from party conventions; rather he had directed everyone to make maximum efforts for holding successful conventions at every level in the Peshawar region.
He warned that such baseless allegations against an important leader of the party would cause further damages to the party. He said that Atif Khan felicitated all the party workers by holding a convention in Mardan. He said that on the directives of Atif Khan more conventions would be held in the Peshawar region at every tehsil level.
After holding a couple of conventions in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, an audio message of Sher Afzal Marwat had gone viral on social media wherein he had levelled allegations against Atif Khan for discouraging party workers from arranging and participating in the party conventions. He had asked Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Ali Amin Gandapur to issue show cause notice to Atif Khan for what he called anti-party activities.
