Alleged bank robbers held in Charsadda
CHARSADDA: The police claimed to have arrested the accused allegedly involved in the robbery of a commercial bank in Charsadda.
Three unknown robbers had made a hole in the backside wall of a commercial bank and sneaked into the bank in a bid to rob it on the night of August 15 last.The alleged robbers had then tied the watchman with a rope and had decamped with looted money, mobile phones and others.
A special team headed by Deputy Superintendent of Police, City, Adnan Azam Khan, Station House Officer Fazal Dayan was constituted and started investigation along science lines.The police used the latest technology and geo-fencing and succeeded in reaching the accused. Two alleged robbers identified as Akbar Ali and Shah Zaib, residents of Baba Jee Killay, Nowshera, were arrested.
