Body found, another man dies of burns

MANSEHRRA: The body of a man was found near his house in the Muradpur area here while another person died of burn injuries elsewhere on Wednesday.

“We have found a body, and shifted it to hospital for autopsy,” Israr Hussain Shah, the SHO of the Khaki police, told reporters. He said locals informed the police that the body of a local, Mohammad Shehbaz, was found dumped near his house.

The cop said the unidentified assailants fled the area after dumping the body. The SHO said the slain man had left the home to attend a wedding some two days ago.

Meanwhile, in another incident, a man suffered burn injuries and died instantly in the Bumbal Akazai area of the Torghar district.

According to the bereaved family, Gul Zahir was asleep near a firepit in his room when the quilt which he had wrapped over him caught fire and he died instantly.
