Efforts afoot for merged districts’ development: minister
PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Caretaker Minister for Finance, Excise Taxation, and Narcotics Control, Ahmed Rasul Bangash, said on Sunday that efforts were being made for the development and prosperity of the merged districts.
A handout issued here stated that the minister was speaking at a meeting with Muhammad Haseeb Khan Salarzai, a social activist from Bajaur district.The minister emphasised on efforts to resolve issues, provide higher education opportunities, and enhance healthcare facilities in the tribal districts.
He highlighted the importance of completing ongoing development schemes, including the Naraza village bridge, Salarzai Degree College, Pashat to Lawang road, and Girls Degree College in the Bajaur district headquarter Khar.The minister said the province’s overall development, especially in marginalised districts, was a priority of the government.
