Salary of two SHOs, seven other cops stopped

FAISALABAD: Additional Sessions Judge Amjad Nazir Chaudhry has ordered to stop salary of two station house officers (SHOs) and seven other police officials for not appearing in a murder case to record their statements.
The officials include: Millat Town SHO Masud Hashmat, SHO Sub-Inspector Muhammad Afzal, Sub-Inspector Faqir Hussain, ASI Muhammad Aslam and Head Constable Wali Muhammad.
They have been summoned for April 18 and April 20 to explain the cause for not attending the court.
Woman, daughter kidnapped

FAISALABAD: A married woman with her one-year-old daughter was allegedly kidnapped at Chak 74/RB, Khurrianwala.
In an application to police, Haleema Bibi alleged that Wahab, Yousaf and Kaloo had kidnapped Mehwish Bibi and her one-year-old daughter. The complainant, Haleema Bibi, is mother-in-law of Mehwish. Police are investigating.
