‘Raiwind farmhouse isn’t a political place’
Sharif family sources hope Imran will not ruin values
LAHORE: Sources in the Sharif family and the PML-N circles have taken strong note of Imran Khan’s announcement about holding a march towards Raiwind farmhouse and stage a sit-in there, as they have also discussed course of action and strategy to tackle that.
According to the sources, no one would be allowed to march towards the Raiwind farmhouse where the father of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Chief Minister Shahbaz was laid to rest. Their mother and the family of Abbas Sharif also reside there. Hence, it’s not a political place.
Nawaz spends most of his time in Islamabad, while Shahbaz’ house is in Model Town.
The sources have expressed the hope that Imran would not ruin the eastern values and withdraw the decision.
