Bodies formed for wheat procurement

JHANG: DCO Nadir Chattha Monday constituted district and tehsil level advisory/monitoring committees for wheat procurement campaign 2016.
According to the notifications, the DCO will be the convener while District Police Officer, District Food Controller, Agriculture Department’s EDO and a representative of farmers will be members of the district level wheat procurement advisory/monitoring committee.
Similarly, for tehsil Jhang, Shorkot, Ahmed Pur Sial and 18-Hazari, relevant Assistant Commissioners will be the convener while DSP, Deputy District Officer Agriculture, in-charge of local wheat centre and a representative of farmers will be members of tehsil wheat procurement advisory/monitoring bodies.
