From Our Correspondent
MULTAN: The Majlis Wahdatul Muslimeen Thursday lauded search operations launched by the Pakistan Army and security agencies in south Punjab.
Addressing a joint press conference, MWM Punjab deputy secretary general Allama Iqtidar Hussein Naqvi said peace could not be restored without the elimination of terrorists’ hideouts in south Punjab.
He demanded a ruthless operation against not only hideouts of terrorists but also their facilitators.
Naqvi said the MWM had already demanded a Karachi-like operation in south Punjab.
He also stressed a ruthless operation against political influentials and terror networks for creating hurdles in the operation in south Punjab. He urged politicians to back the operation.
