Landlord killed over petty issue

HAFIZABAD: A landlord was killed over a petty dispute at Gujarke village on Thursday.
Nazeer Ahmad was going to fields for cutting fodder when he exchanged harsh words with Gulzar Ahmad Tarar over a minor dispute. This infuriated Nazir and he allegedly killed him. Vanike police arrested the accused after registering a case.
MAN DIES: A man was killed while another injured in a road accident near Kot Ishaq on Thursday.
Hafeez Ahmad of Vanike Tarar with Ghulam Rasool was going on his donkey cart when a speeding truck (NLI/128) hit the cart. As a result, Hafeez died on the spot while Ghulam Rasool received serious injuries. Truck driver managed to escape from the spot.
