3 injured in roof collapse

GUJRANWALA: Three labourers were injured when a roof collapsed on them in the Gakhar area, Gujranwala, on Wednesday.
Reportedly, Irfan, Qaisar and Amanat were working in an under-construction building when its one roof suddenly collapsed, leaving them injured. They were rushed to District Hospital, Gujranwala.

GUJRANWALA: Like other parts of the country, Pakistan Day was celebrated in Gujranwala with national zeal and fervour.
The main ceremony was held at Gujranwala Cantt and it was attended by senior army officers, officials and a large number of citizens.
Another ceremony was held at the Government Girls College, Satellite Town, and it was presided over by the Gujranwala Commissioner.
Speakers highlighted sacrifices rendered to get the country. The nation is urged to unite for prosperity and solidarity of the country.
