GDA land record computerised, says official

ABBOTTABAD: An official said on Tuesday that improvements including computerisation of land record have been made in the Galiyat Development Authority (GDA) during the last five months.“Face-lifting of all the bazaras under beautification project will be completed in coming three months besides road expansion, rest areas for tourists, food street and flower market to attract tourists,” explained GDA Director Administration Raza Ali Habib. Briefing newsmen at his office, the official said the GDA was facing different issues which include mismanagement of staff, no check and balance system, absence of master plan, mismanaged land record, no mechanism of complaint system, etc when he took over the charge.
