Officials’ leaves cancelled to handle rain-related situation

TOBA TEK SINGH: DCO Amir Ijaz Akbar has banned casual leaves of officials of Rescue-1122, Civil Defence, health and other related departments to handle rain-related situation in the district. Addressing a pre-flood arrangements committee meeting, the DCO directed TMOs of the district to pump out rain water from low-lying areas as soon as possible. He asked livestock and dairy development department officials to start vaccination drive in villages. Additional District Collector Zeeshan Shabbir Rana asked relevant officials to complete data of district disaster management plan.
