President’s position stands disputed, says Rehman Malik
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader and former interior minister Senator Rehman Malik said that President of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussain was elected by the votes of MQM so his position stands disputed and anti-Pakistan today.
He said however, his legal team was examining the statement of Mustafa Kamal and he would decide about it after consultation with his party leadership to move the court against him. Rehman Malik said that in second press conference Mustafa Kamal refused to say anything about him despite of a reporter's insistence for comments.
Senator A Rehman Malik said that the few anchors were deliberately bashing him and trying to put own words in the mouths of their hosts and using their TV channels for vested interests. He said that the Pemra must take notice of such anchors and so-called analysts. He appealed journalists and anchors to at least take his point of view and opinion before running any news about him.
