‘Queen Elizabeth doesn’t want family drama at this stage of her reign’
Queen Elizabeth is not too happy about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's claims
As chaos unleashes with the British royal family, Queen Elizabeth II isn’t too pleased about the final years of her reign getting tainted by controversy.
A royal insider spoke to People magazine and revealed that the monarch may have tried maintain cordiality with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle after their explosive interview, but behind closed doors, things are much colder.
"What she won't want is family conflict at this stage of her reign,” said the source.
"She is always head of the country and Prince Philip was always head of the family. He is not there to be that — so everything is falling on to her shoulders. It must be an incredibly lonely place to be,” the insider said.
Earlier this month, chatting with Oprah Winfrey, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex made startling claims about their time in the royal family, alleging the Firm of racism and ‘perpetuating falsehoods’ about them.
