Gerard Butler laments a movie which he should have done 'differently'
Gerard Butler who is a heartthrob of millions of her fans said he regret he has done a movie that caused his fame some harm
Being one of the most acclaimed actors, Hollywood heartthrob Gerard Butler, who has a regret about one of his movies, said he wished he had not done that movie.
It is "P.S. I Love You" - a film where Gerard Butler plays an Irish man. However, the 51-year-old actor wished he had not taken the movie or at least, he had done it differently.
In the movie, Gerard is seen wooing Hilary Swank. The movie was shot in both New York and Ireland as the two lead characters - Gerry and Holly - come from Ireland, according to the original novel that the film was adapted from.
But, it is no secret that the London Has Fallen actor comes from Scotland. He has pulled off using an American accent fairly successfully. Gerard went for taking an Irish accent in 'P.S. I Love You,' however, he failed miserably with critics jumping at their guns against him.
Reacting to the criticism, according to The Sun, Gerard said, "After all those wonderful reviews and glorious feedback." Indicating that he will never try an Irish accent again, saying, "I've ticked that box."
Making an attempt for the Irish accent is Gerard Butler's regret. When he works in his true colours, then he excels and shines creatively.
