Crazy Town’s Shifty Shellshock died at the age of 49 after battling with substance over the years.
The musician, whose birth name was Seth Binzer, passed away on Monday, June 24.
He is reported to have been admitted to hospital after losing consciousness, according to the Los Angeles medical examiner.
The latter had long been in coma before he was released from the institution.
Ahead of his death, the musician previously opened up about his battle with substance following his sobriety.
The Butterfly hitmaker took to Instagram to reflect on his battle with himself alongside a caption that read: "I’m a lover than a fighter …but the one I need to love more Instead of fight with is myself .. mr shifty true Love # Sober alive and grateful (sic)"
Binzer, who struggled with drug addiction for years, is known for his appearances on multiple reality TV series, including Celebrity Rehab 1 and 2 as well as Sober House 1 and 2.
For the unversed, his cause of death is still unknown and is yet to be discovered.
