Nicole Brown Simpson’s sisters dub O.J.'s death 'the end of a chapter'
Nicole Brown Simpson’s sisters breathed a sigh of relief at actor-footballer's death
Nicole Brown Simpson’s sisters opened up about O.J. Simpson’s recent death at the age of 76.
The disgraced actor, who died from cancer on April 10, was remembered by Nicole’s three sisters, including Tanya, Dominique, and Denise.
Speaking exclusively in this week’s issue of PEOPLE on Friday, May 17, the 59-year-old sister Dominique said: “It’s very complicated.”
To which, Tanya, 54, responded: “This is a person who’s been in our life for a very long time, who wreaked havoc on our family. It’s like the end of a chapter.”
Denise and Dominique recalled the time when the model first introduced them to O.J. in 1977, a memory that is linked to the day when Nicole and Ron Goldman were stabbed in Los Angeles on June 12, 1994.
She explained that this was the first time when she finally had the chance to meet the then-married football star at a restaurant in Los Angeles.
Dominique explained: “He was just her boyfriend to us.”
Continuing on the subject, she added: “He made a touchdown, and he looked up at all of us. I was like, ‘Wow, look at this guy. He’s amazing.’”
However, they opened up about a time when O.J. flipped out at Nicole over seeing her kiss a male friend on the cheek during a game.
Rehashing the night’s hysterics, she recalled: “He had her upstairs in the bathroom crying. He said, ‘You embarrassed me.’”
