‘Atlas’: Jennifer Lopez complains being ‘misunderstood’ yet alike

Jennifer Lopez is just like her Atlas character, but sometimes, she is exactly the opposite.

Lopez expresses that she feels “misunderstood at times” when compared to her character in her new sci-fi flick.

“We are so different because she, like, doesn’t wear any of her emotions,” she explained to People at the film’s Los Angeles premiere Monday night. “She’s so closed off and I am too much emotion sometimes.”

Lopez also highlighted that is “very strong and sure of what [she] feel[s],” just like her Atlas character.

“At times. She was very sure,” she noted. “She was like, ‘This is what’s happening, please listen to me. Please tell me.’ And felt very misunderstood at times. I can also relate to that a bit.”

The 54-year-old star has been steering split rumours with Ben Affleck, whom she married in July 2022.

Page Six reported this week that Affleck, 51, was in the Los Angeles region looking for a place to buy, while Lopez was observed doing her own solo real estate research.

But according to an insider, she isn't interested in the divorce talk; instead, she wants to purchase an investment property.
