Prince Harry has reportedly decided to skip his once-close pal Hugh Grosvenor, the Duke of Westminster's wedding because of his better half Meghan Markle's declining popularity in the UK.
For the unversed, Hugh Grosvenor, who is also a godfather of Prince George and Prince Archie, is all set to tie the knot with Olivia Henson in June 2024.
Now, a royal commentator, Ingrid Seward, told The Sun that the Duke of Sussex is expected to miss his friend's big day for the sake of his wife.
She said, "Harry and Meghan obviously probably have no intention of flying 5,000 miles to go to a wedding. It's the society wedding of the year when that society doesn't want to know them - especially Meghan."
Ingrid added, "I should think I mean the last thing Meghan wanted to do was to fly to the UK - where she's deeply unpopular - and be put on show, if you like, which she would be."
These comments came after a royal expert Duncan Larcombe told OK! Magazine that Harry is living 'under the shadow' of Meghan.
He said, Meghan is a very strong character, very driven, extremely ambitious, and those are the kind of characteristics that mean she will almost always inevitably outshine Harry and grab the attention from him."
