BTS member Suga, born as Min Yoon-gi, admit feeling anxious before stepping on the stage for his solo concert after performing with Jungkook, V, Jimin, RM, J-hope and Jin as a band.
The 31-year-old South Korean rapper released the Agust D TOUR 'D-DAY' The Original teaser on Saturday, May 18. In the preview, he shared that doing a BTS concert is easier than a solo show.
As the video began, Suga, who also goes by his second stage name, Agust D, can be heard saying in the background, "When the other members were there, I never felt anxious."
"But because I’m on my own for this show. I can’t help but feel that I should even do better," the record producer noted to the pressure of performing solo.
In the video featuring a practice session, he confessed, "Honestly, I think this is tougher than doing a BTS concert."
The voiceover continued, "I think it’s only right that I do my utmost best." Taking a leap of faith in himself, Suga added, "I always need to be thankful that there are stages I can perform on and that there are people who seek me out."
"Thank you so much ARMY," the video wrapped up showcasing Suga acing the show.
The teaser hints at featuring exclusive behind-the-scenes from the Agust D tour ‘D-Day’, which took place last year.
Additionally, fans are speculating whether the full release, scheduled to premiere on June 7, will contain video of the entire concert.
