King Charles appears to be precarious of his estranged son Prince Harry after he declined a meeting with him.
The Duke of Sussex, who visited the UK to attend the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games last week, revealed to the press, via his spokesperson, that the monarch could not meet him given his “full diary of programme."
Now, royal author Tom Quinn believes that the monarch is “filled with horror” over the next move Harry and Meghan Markle will make following the snub.
The Duke is “is in no mood to apologise” and the monarch is “not in a forgiving mood,” Quinn told The Mirror.
The news also comes amid reports that Meghan has been offered to millions to write a memoir. It is also believed that if Meghan were to take up the project, Prince Harry will also make a contribution to her book, making it a real threat to the royal family.
“For all her efforts to make a success of her new online business, America Riviera Orchard, Meghan knows that a personal memoir of her time in the UK as a working royal would sell millions of copies and make her the sort of money she craves,” Quinn said.
“All this fills King Charles with horror because Harry is bound to be a major contributor to the book. And we know there is a lot more material. After the publication of Spare, Harry himself said he had enough material for two books. With all this hanging over his head, Charles is not in a forgiving mood.”
