Anne Hathaway was spotted on the set of her upcoming sci-fi film Flowervale Street in Atlanta, where she was seen covered in fake blood and grime while shooting a scene this week.
The movie, directed by acclaimed horror filmmaker David Robert Mitchell of It Follows fame, features Hathaway alongside Ewan McGregor in leading roles.
According to insiders cited by The Hollywood Reporter, she and McGregor portray the parents of a family from the 1980s who find themselves facing off against dinosaurs.
In the latest scene, Hathaway's character donned a stern expression and wore a dirty tank top stained with brown, dried blood.
Dirt streaked her jeans and skin, and she was seen wielding a fireplace poker, suggesting a tense and dramatic sequence in the film.
Alongside her character were three others, seemingly teenagers dressed in school attire.
One of them, portrayed by 20-year-old Maisy Stella from Nashville, was seen wielding a knife as part of her role.
The scene being filmed featured an upturned car, with a crane lowering a vintage automobile upside down onto the street.
Deadline has reported that it will be shot in IMAX and is set to release on May 16, 2025.
Hathaway emphasized the importance of thorough preparation to quiet any anxieties on the day of filming, stating, "I’d rather not be unseated on the day [of filming] by my anxiety."
