Kensington Palace's first reaction to Princess Kate's unauthorized picture has been revealed.
The Palace is "quite upset" as an unauthorised photo of the Princess of Wales has been circulating in the US press and on social media, according to GB News royal correspondent Cameron Walker.
"They were unauthorised paparazzi photographs. I'm getting the sense that Kensington Palace is quite upset that the Princess's privacy was invaded in this fashion," said the royal expert.
"The photographs published in the US gossip magazine appear to show her in the passenger seat of a car near Windsor Castle," added Walker.
"Carole Middleton, her mother, is driving the car. The report is that the photographs were taken just after 9am on the way back from the school run but it does appear to show the Princess of Wales wearing sunglasses and clearly well enough to be in the car."
On the other hand, royal commentator Michael Cole believes the photo was taken during a school run.
“It would have been a very brilliant way of scotching all the vile rumours that have been going around about her”, he said on GB News.
“I’ve said that it would have been a good idea for Kensington Palace to be as candid as it could be when she went into hospital and to actually give some sort of guidance about her condition or even where she is now."
