How Meghan Markle changed Prince Harry's 'wild' life
Prince Harry was known to party and have nights filled with alcohol and cigarettes
Prince Harry's life before meeting Meghan Markle reportedly consisted cigarettes and alcohol.
According to journalist Katie Couric, while writing in her 2021 memoir Going There, the Duke of Sussex led a questionable past which she called his "wild-oats sowing phase".

The author recalled how Prince Harry reeked of cigarettes and that alcohol "oozed from every pore" of his body as the royal spent nights partying during his younger years.
Having first met him in 2012 in Brazil she noted how the Duke of Sussex led his bachelor life in a wild manner.
Notably, meeting Meghan Markle in July 2016 seemingly changed his life as he went on to marry her in 2018 and now shares two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
This comes after it was announced that Kate will be joining Prince Harry’s wife Meghan Markle at the SXSW Festival where she and the Duchess of Sussex will be keynote speakers.

The session will explore "how the ubiquitous nature of social media is creating an often dangerous environment which has led to serious mental health issues for teenage girls in particular”.
