Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are seemingly confident in their upcoming business moves as they are trying to command their business deals.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex had signed a multi-million-dollar deal with Netflix which is set to expire in 2025. According to multiple reports, their lucrative with the streaming giant is on the verge of collapse, much like their Spotify deal which ended in June last year.
However, the couple made a surprising move as Prince Harry’s new documentary landed on Netflix’s rival, Hulu, last month.
A report by The Mirror suggested that Harry was “allowed” the controversial switch. PR expert Jane Owen shared that Netflix may be “moving away and severing ties” or making a “power move” as they already have something bigger in store.
Now, journalist Lee Cohen shared that despite whatever Netflix has planned, Harry and Meghan will ne opting for the “highest bidder” when it comes to their future projects.
“Apparently, he's doing a documentary, but it isn't with Netflix,” Cohen said. “I would have thought that Netflix wouldn't be up for that.”
"I think they're casting about for any purchase. And you know, Harry and Meghan it seems, will always go to the highest bidder,” he continued.
“And so, we don't have all of the details yet, but that's what's in their sights.”
