Prince William, Kate Middleton brace for yet another crisis
Kate Middleton and Prince William are very protective of their PR strategy
Kate Middleton and Prince William are dreading Gary Goldsmith making his reality show debut.
The uncle of Kate is among the contestants of Celebrity Big Brother series, where he will be documented every minute of his time.
Neither the royal family nor the Middletons would approve of Gary running his mouth about royal affairs on the upcoming reality television series.
Speaking to OK! former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond claimed Gary’s prospective stint wouldn’t fend well for the royal family, who are already going through several crisis at once.
She also pointed out his renowned animosity against Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, relaying Prince William and Kate’s fear about what he would say when the cameras begin rolling.
"I think it’s a dreadful idea and I can’t imagine that it has the blessing of anyone in the Middleton or Royal Family,” she told the outlet.
"Gary will be under intense pressure in the house to spill the beans and ANYTHING he says, however innocent, will make the headlines. And those are not the kind of headlines anyone in the family will welcome,” Jennie explained.
"The last thing they want is for Gary to be their spokesperson. He already has a reputation for being a slightly risqué character and William and Kate have worked hard to run things their way - particularly as regards to their communication - and they won’t want Gary going freestyle,” the royal expert added.
