BTS Jimin recently sat down for a vulnerable chat on tvN’s You Quiz On The Block and shed light on his gruesome trainee days.
On the show’s 99th episode Jimin was quoted saying, “At that time, I didn’t live in the dorms as a BTS member. I had come up from Busan and I didn’t have a place to stay so I came to live in the dorms.”
“Not knowing what I should do was the hardest thing for me. Whenever V or Jungkook had vocal lessons, I asked if I could watch. I would tune in to the lesson and later practice what I learned late at night. I would practice until about 4 AM and wake up around 6:30 to go to school. It wasn’t hard for me back then.”
“I would call my father once every month and I would always tell him that I might not make it so just don’t be disappointed in me. Even if I fail here I will make it somehow.”
“I endured all these hardships and continued to practice hard in order to be a part of the team all because of the members. We are all equally lacking and we are all the same people, but we can do it if we are together.”
