The government has finally made up the decision to purchase LNG. About 15 years back, CNG was considered an alternative to petrol. Many people installed CNG kits in their vehicles but nowadays many prefer to use petrol and they are discarding CNG kits because of the drop in oil prices and the advancements being made in alternative energy sources like solar and electrical options. The number of CNG stations is also declining every day.
One wonders what will happen if fuel prices drop down further. What will LNG’s future be?
