This is to congratulate The News on its 25th anniversary. The News has done a great job, indeed, by introducing state-of-the-art printing technology, and setting a much-needed example of healthy journalism. Today, The News stands firm as the most popular English newspaper of the country. It has a team of renowned analysts on board. Apart from the content, its editorials are also remarkable for their style.
Being a pioneer in investigative journalism is another brilliant feather in the cap of The News. In the early 1990s, I too had the honour of contributing some light-vein columns to The News. So I regard The News as my newspaper.
