Musical evening for special persons

The Paradise, Rotary Club of Lahore Garrison and Rotaract Club of Lahore Garrison jointly organised a musical evening at Voice Society for the Disabled to support and promote singer Ali Raza. Ali Raza is a physically challenged and a very talented singer who is part of Voice Society. He also took part in the first Pakistan Idol and made it to the rounds in Karachi.

Some participants as well as some other children at the Voice Society also showed their talent in singing. Members of the Rotary Club of Lahore Garrison provided a 1,500W Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) and batteries, which made possible the generous donation from Past President Dr Salman Malik (Rotary Club of London Derry, D7870, USA). 

Paradise is a non-profit organisation providing services in the areas of health, literacy, youth promotion and economic development. Rotary Clubs consist of business and professional leaders working as volunteers to help the underprivileged.  

Rotaract Clubs are the youth chapters of Rotary Clubs catering the age group of 18 to 30 years. The Voice Society provides all inclusive living and educational facilities to 25 children who suffer physical disabilities consisting of polio, weak eyesight, weak limbs and muscular disorders.
